Salty sea breeze aromas with hints of seaweed and citrus. Smooth and briny on the palate with flavors of juniper, coriander, and a subtle marine minerality. Refreshing finish with a hint of salt. Hendrick's Gin was launched in 1999 by William Grant & Sons in Girvan, Scotland. It revolutionized gin by infusing cucumber and rose petals, creating a new gin category. This gin worked best with a slice of citrus. The peppery finish worked well, especially with a slice of citrus; still, it lost its character with tonic.

The first thing I noticed with Hendricks Neptunia Gin was the aroma. There were flashes of bright botanicals, but the finish turned medicinal. Some good points, though the balance didn't fully work for me.

floral - fresh - herbal

I paid more attention to the finish on this gin. It opened with bright botanicals, then moved into herbal notes without losing balance. One of the more enjoyable options I've tried in this category.

floral - botanical
