Opened Ashanti for a quiet night at home. From the first sip, the finish turned medicinal; the finish was no better because the citrus tasted artificial. I left most of the pour unfinished.

I liked the ginger spice. The only drawback was that the bitterness felt one-dimensional. Still a good pick and one I'd have again.

The start was better than the finish: herbal notes first, then the bitterness felt one-dimensional. Some good points, though the balance didn't fully work for me.

ginger - botanical - floral
