I had mixed expectations for Glenmorangie. I liked the clear juniper. The only drawback was that it lost its character with tonic. Good enough to revisit, especially with the right serve.

Picked up Glenmorangie The Original for a change. It had a decent soft spice; after that, the juniper dominated everything. I wouldn't refuse it, but I have other favourites.

Glenmorangie worked best in a simple G&T. The aroma hinted at herbal notes; in the glass, it lost its character with tonic.

sharp - bitter
