Macallan smelled more expressive than I expected. Rounded mouthfeel showed up early, while warm oak carried through the finish. This one earned a place on my repeat list.

I tried The Macallan No 6 over one large cube. I liked the dry, tidy finish. The only drawback was that the finish turned bitter. Still a good pick and one I'd have again.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this whisky, but I gave it a fair try. I tried changing the serve, but the finish turned bitter. It may suit a different palate, but it wasn't for me.

spiced - fruity - sharp
