5I paired this tequila with spicy starters, which helped show its character. The cooked-agave character came through clearly, and fresh herbal note kept the sip interesting. It was gone faster than I expected, which says enough.

4Served Especial in a margarita and let it settle for a minute. It opened with earthy note and stayed pleasant, but the aroma was more interesting than the sip. Not perfect, but it worked well for me.
