The finish was the deciding point for me with Aberfeldy 21 Year. I tried changing the serve, but the sweetness felt flat. I wanted to like it more than I did.

I paid more attention to the finish on Aberfeldy. There were flashes of soft fruit, but it stayed sharp even after resting. I wouldn't refuse it, but I have other favourites.
oaky - fruity - spicedI let this whisky sit for a moment before tasting it. There was enough rounded mouthfeel to keep me interested, even though it felt thinner than I expected. Still a good pick and one I'd have again.
malty - fruity - warm
