I had a small pour of the bottle and let it open up. I liked the vanilla note. The only drawback was that the finish disappeared quickly. Still a good pick and one I'd have again.

The first thing I noticed with this whisky was the aroma. The aroma hinted at light smoke; in the glass, the oak came across too dry. The balance felt off from start to finish.
