This liqueur started gently and changed toward the end. It opened with nutty cashew character and stayed pleasant, but the sweetness covered the main flavour. A solid four rather than a five.

The nutty cashew character came through clearly, and fruit-forward character kept the sip interesting. It was gone faster than I expected, which says enough.

The finish was the deciding point for me with Big Boss. I noticed some nutty cashew character, but mostly it felt heavy after one pour. It may suit a different palate, but it wasn't for me.

nutty - heavy
