The first thing I noticed with Amrut was the aroma. I liked the dry, tidy finish; the mellow sweetness made it feel complete rather than heavy. It was gone faster than I expected, which says enough.

The mellow sweetness was enjoyable and light smoke gave it enough character, although it stayed sharp even after resting. Still a good pick and one I'd have again.
smoky - maltyOpened Amrut for a quiet night at home. I noticed some vanilla note, but mostly the oak came across too dry. It may suit a different palate, but it wasn't for me.
