The bottle started gently and changed toward the end. There was enough vanilla note to keep me interested, even though the oak came across too dry. Good enough to revisit, especially with the right serve.

The finish was the deciding point for me with the bottle. It opened with mellow sweetness, then moved into rounded mouthfeel without losing balance. It was gone faster than I expected, which says enough.

This whisky started gently and changed toward the end. The nutty edge was pleasant, but the oak came across too dry. Some good points, though the balance didn't fully work for me.
